Vinification
Grapes picked in third and fourth week of October, in east portion of Estate block. Gravity destemmed and crushed into small open top fermenters. Aged in 100% French Oak for approximately 17 months. Bottled unfiltered in early May 2007.
Tasting Notes
Rich layering of black cherry, black currant and black berry fruit. Spicy and vibrant, has appreciable depth with tannin structure integrating well with flavor matrix.
Aging potential is 10-12 years.
