Winter 2010 Newsletter

The New Year is off to a great start at Little Vineyards Family Winery. Old man winter is upon us in a BIG way. The rain fall that we all so anxiously hoped for has arrived! Everything looks so green and full of water for our vineyard this coming year. Wines are all in barrel and have finished malolactic fermentation. Quality and styles are looking good thus far. Getting an initial look at how various oak types & barrel coopers are integrating with flavors. Present plan is finalizing and finishing out the ’08 blends, getting them bottle ready.

New Releases: It's always an exciting time here at the winery when we have new releases for you to try! Three varietals that will be available after wine club members have first crack at them are Band Blend "Track Four", our 2008 Sonoma Valley Zinfandel, and our 2007 Sonoma Valley Cabernet Sauvignon. As spring approaches, we would love to see you in the tasting room, so stop by in March to taste our new vintages.

Wine Club News: Your winter wine club orders are ready! Shipping orders will go out March 1st and pick up orders will be available March 1st or you can join us on March 7th, if you’re able when we close our doors to the public from 2-5 pm for a Club Only Pick-Up Party! Savor Sonoma: March 20th & 21st. We are now members of the Heart of Sonoma Valley Association so you’ll be able to join us at valley wide events throughout the year. On March 20th and 21st, we will be joining 22 other wineries in the Sonoma Valley to showcase our barrel samples, special futures discounts and fabulous food pairings.
