Snowfalls at Little Vineyards: This winter snow dusted the hills and vines around us forcing the energy of the vine down into the root system. In pruning we strive for the optimal balance of our fruit load and canopy control, ensuring the proper combination of sunlight and fruit. We believe here at Little Vineyards that the wine is grown first and foremost with every attention to detail. Winter is the time that we determine next years wines by our actions in the vineyards.

Our Latest Awards: We received TWO Silver Medals at the 2008 San Francisco Wine Chronicle Competition for our 2005 Cabernet Sauvignon and our 2004 Cabernet Sauvignon! We also received TWO Bronze Medals for our 2005 Syrah and our Band Blend Track 2! BUY YOURS NOW!

News from the Cellar: All malolactic (ML) fermentations are finally completed. Yes, we have been busy racking the 2007 Vintage lots, as well as topping & re-evaluating the 2006 batches. Wine quality turned out to be remarkably consistent, between these two outstanding LV vintages. We will soon be constructing final blends, as we approach our late spring bottling, of the 2006 Vintage wines.

Wine quality turned out to be remarkably consistent, between these two outstanding LV vintages. We will soon be constructing final blends, as we approach our late spring bottling, of the 2006 Vintage wines.
